Washing and storage so much easier

Definitely durable trays. Very nice to be able to stack washed eggs up without needing so much counter space to dry, and then store them until need to box them. Restaurant kitchens have been pretty respectful returning them every week too, nice to cut down on trashed cartons.

If I had to nitpick something, it is that as pictured the wash water holds in each "cup" and the point of the egg stays wet until boxing. I've been using them "upside down" to drain the wash water better, but there's still a water ring... I drilled out the cup tips with an 1/8" bit and that's better... Still a 5 star product.
Oh, and fyi, they need rotated 90* each layer when stacking, i.e. 5x6 then 6x5.

Hi Chris,

I am so sorry you are having these issues! Can you send us photo/videos of what is happening when it drains? And how you are stacking them?

Glad you are enjoying them otherwise - we appreciate the honest review!!! Thanks so much for doing business with us as well :)

Great Replacement

We've always used egg cartons to house our crickets, but there was a real concern with Salmonella. These washable egg cartons were a great replacement and clean up nicely. We've switched our entire Zoo over to them.

Thank you for your purchase and review Stacy!! We love hearing about all the ways our customers use our products! We're so happy these are working out well for you!

Great for sanitizing

We use these trays to dip eggs, by hand, to sanitize them. They work great. Thanks

Good for washing

Currently we use the trays for collection (for chicken and duck eggs -- we like that these hold larger eggs). My initial reason for purchasing them was to use them inside of a square container into which I would build an immersion washer. Unfortunately, the containers that I found to use for the purpose were just a little bit too small to hold the trays, so we're still washing by hand, and the trays are just a means of collection from the coop. I'm still looking for a 15" x 15" square plastic bucket or tank i can lower the full trays into for automated washing. Thes will work in the meantime
