Torn cartons and smelled like sour dishrags

I wanted to be pleased, but several of the cartons were torn (probably 3/5 cartons), some as much as a 2”x2” hole. They also smelled like sour dishrags. I’m guessing it has something to do with the use of recycled paperboard, although this is just a guess. Either way, they smelled pretty strong to me. On a positive note, the jumbo cartons did fit eggs from my Khaki Campbell ducks with no problem, and the cartons were of good thickness.

On your sample order of 5 cartons - our team would notice if they were torn and would have not sent those out to you if that was the case. Can you send us a picture of the damages?

In regards to the sour dishrag smell - we have not had any complaints about such smell for this carton before or noticed this ourselves. I'm sorry yours smelled bad though.
